The oven got me wondering something: does having an object partly in the item storage negate its weight? We see him slide out a big, iron-looking oven like it's nothing, and so many of those monsters are bigger than he is. So maybe opening the portal and getting it over part of an item lets the rest slide in no problem?

Re: Vianca, I suspect Jeremy might be overthinking it. I don't remember off the top of my head the name of the city, but she would have met Mukohda and Fel at the guild hall where he first signed up back in season one. She's just a big fan of floofy doggos — and like, relatable.
It's gotta be Bag of Holding rules, right? If it fits through the opening, mass doesn't matter and nobody ever struggles to take something out of it. Plus, Mukohda's item storage spell can clearly open as wide as he needs it to. |

Gotta say, I actually like the show's lore about dungeons and how it tries to explain their function in a fantasy world: dungeons are living (maybe even sentient?) beings that feed off magic and living beings. Being an adventurer is a high-risk job focused on 'harvesting' what the dungeon grows. There's a subtle horror aspect to it: adventurers are the living dungeon's food source, lured in by the promise of loot, and when you die in the dungeon, it 'digests' you and you become a part of it forever.
I don't think the show will ever explore the implications, nor do I want it to. I just find it funny that a cooking SOL show has more lore for dungeons than other fantasy shows that just take them for granted with no explanation. |

Poor Fel! He was already overpowered when we met him, and now he has the War God's blessing (50% boost!) and of course all the extra points he gets when Mukohda cooks up Earth food. Considering how hard it for him to find a good fight, well, now it might be nearly impossible.
Mukohda's exasperated resignation at learning his blessings have stacked to one big blessing is right in character. He doesn't mind slaving over a hot stove all day (and good thing), but he really doesn't want to do any fighting. Unfortunately, while he's pretty good at ignoring Fel he's pathetically vulnerable to the equally bloodthirsty blandishments of Sui. |

You can certainly see how committed Muhkoda is to remaining as disengaged as possible. He can't even be bothered on checking in on Mom himself. Good thing Sui's elixirs were up to snuff.
More to the point, am I the only one who thinks Muhkoda is kind of an a-hole for serially failing to perform his EXTREMELY light duties to the gods who had made his leisurely life possible? Good grief. |

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but my interpretation based on what I saw is that the two male gods are intervening to prevent Muhkoda from remembering to send the offerings, as they see the goddesses as relying on him and his offerings too much. |

The gods are honestly bigger not-so-nice-people about the whole thing than he could ever be. First of all, the blessings aren't supposed to be tit for tat, they literally never have been with any other human in history. It's kinda the equivalent of giving someone a gift, and then expecting them to buy you lunch once a week because of it. That's not how gifts work, dude. Any additional blessings they give are purely for their own sake and doesn't take Mukohda's interests, will or strengths into consideration in the slightest. And basically all of them went with the smallest possible blessing. Other people have gotten a whole lot more for absolutely nothing. Second, Mukohda gives offerings early, or gives larger amounts of offerings several times, without it ever being taken into consideration or appreciated. But if he's just a little late, they pile on him. Remember, he gave offerings early before heading into the dungeon precisely because he knew it would mess with his schedule, but it's not like the gods have taken those extra days into consideration before they started whining. spoiler[They actually all eventually get yelled at by the top god for taking advantage.] |

Presumably because it's a running gag, but he seems to be late nearly every week. And I don't know how blessings are supposed to work (where's the rule book?), but as a general principal when somebody does you a solid you do them a solid back. Again, a once a week shipment doesn't seem all that strenuous a chore.
TheReticent might be right that the male gods are interfering with him (although they seemed pretty on edge about the latest delayed shipment themselves)--and if so, my bad and it was sloppy of me to have missed such a thing--but again, Mukohda has been perennially late on shipments since way before those two showed up. |

There was so much wrong with that whole scene. How far away was the kids' house? Why didn't they at least drop them off at the front door? Why make the kid carry a huge pot of soup all the way home instead of carrying it in for him? Made my arms tired just seeing him holding it while standing around chatting before they left, since a pot like that would be heavy. How much elixir is the dose? A teaspoon? The whole bottle? Dunno. You figure it out, kids. Hope it works. Good luck, bye! The stats screen could've given the dosage, in which case that would've been a good excuse, if he needed one, for him to go with the kids to make sure it worked, meet the mom, explain why he's with her kids, etc. But no. He wasn't even curious about the outcome at all. Might also have been a good idea to warn them not to tell everyone they have this miracle elixir... (or did he? I was so distracted by all the rest of it, I could've missed it.) |

Completely disagree with that horrible review. It was a beautiful heartfelt episode and a beautiful payoff. Even if it's common and predictable it was tastefully done. 4.5/5.
Review didn't even mention the Net Super upgrade... |

Not just a meat grinder, a mithril meat grinder! As I understood it, Sui can replicate anything they've absorbed (if it's non-biological I guess, or Sui would replicate all the meats) if the raw materials are available. Mukohda already wore out a meat grinder he bought online, so Sui used that as a template. |

Hasn't Sui also received some kind of smithing blessing from one of the gods this season? I seem to recall that being the reason that the little slime was able to craft a superior mithril blade, and then a meat grinder in this episode. |

Yeah, that was probably it. So maybe just metal things. It just seemed like either the reviewer missed the part about him having a regular meat grinder that wore out for Sui to work from, or maybe also that Sui made him a sword previously, and thought that ability was just conveniently made up, even though it had been shown before.

"Evil plants"?  What, did the author just run out of exotic names for this world's monsters? Not even a low-effort name like Venu Montraps? And unfortunately weed killer just doesn't work that fast. He'd be better off spraying acid like Sui does.
The best moment of the episode was the reaction faces to Fei's sultry diva flounce (see thumbnail). I had to back up and pause that to fully savor it. |

This series started out pretty interesting, but the premise over time is wearing thin now. While not what I would consider a bad isekai, its not a very good one either. It does nothing to make it stand out from all the me too's out there.
I'll stick with it to the end, but my expectations are fairly low.. |
