Does anyone have a link for online catalogues for Viz, Yen Press and JNC-J-Novel.
Since Diamond went down, and Previews ceased publication, my local comics shops are using different distributors' catalogues, but Kodansha, Vertical, Seven Seas, Square Enix, and Tokyopop appear on Penguin/Random House. |

It depends on what you want the catalog for. If all you want is a listing of what they are publishing and when it is released, both Viz Media and Yen Press (JNC J novel is handled by Yen) have their own web sites which provide this information. If you want a distributor that your local comic shop can order from, all I can say is good luck.
Yen Press is partially owned by and distributed in the U.S. by Hachette Book Group. They used to list international distribution by Diamond. No idea who is handling that now. My local comic shop tried to order from Hachette and found them not very helpful for small businesses. I don't know who distributes for Viz these days. https://www.viz.com/ https://yenpress.com/ |

This. My local shop orders manga and other books via book distributors, which aren't available for the public. That means that for Viz and Yen, not only I can't order new volumes of books I am reading, I can't discover new books just being introduced. It's very annoying. |

Unfortunately the days of having everything available in a single print or online catalog are gone. You have to work a little harder. In order to discover what new is coming out you more or less have to visit each publisher's website on a regular basis. As far as ordering, all I can suggest is find an online retailer that handles manga and order from them. If you were here in the states I would recommend Roberts Anime Corner Store, but I have no information for Australia. Unfortunately while Amazon here carries almost all manga they don't discount most new titles. Diamond's near monopoly on comic distribution was something of an accident. They managed to show that even a monopoly can fail. |

Diamond was great for grazing and finding things you never knew existed.
Got to do things the hard way now. J-Novel app and browser is on all my devices. As for the rest, I usually use Amazon Kindle for finding new things and Amazon Kindle does remind you that series you bought before have new volumes. Bad thing, Amazon does ban some manga. Found out the hard way, when I saw I was way behind on the "How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord" (digital version). Had to go to Google Play Books to get the series. So if I want to see what's out, Amazon Kindle store, J-Novel website and app, even Google Play Books app. But ANN's periodic listing of new anime, new manga, and new light novels is the best for finding out what's new and/or what you have missed by other means. |
