So either work has completely stalled on Love Cobra in favor of this or we're getting Revue Starlight without Furukawa in the director's chair - which sounds like a really bad idea

If it's a S2 and not another movie, it's coming certainly later than it should have when its 2 sister franchises have all the attention, but I'm glad it's finally happening.

Has it been complete radio silence since the original tease four years ago? It's probably safe to assume project being shelved completely then.

Then only thing that wasn't mentioned was the visual novel by Frontwing (Yes, the Frontwing behind the Grisaia series, Island and Atri: My Dear Moments) that came out in 2024 for Steam and Switch. The title is Revue Starlight: El Dorado. It's a direct sequel to the 2022 movie.
