The game is not a gacha right? It is a single player experience like it should be right?

I sure hope so. I'm getting really tired of short-lived gacha tie-ins that can't even last a year.

My favorite this season. Not surprised, but still nice to hear. Between the author's two works that both got adaptations this season, I thought this was the one that deserved a second cour, over Scum of the Brave.
The trailer didn't provide much info. I hope the staff from this season return for the next, because they did a spectacular job.

I guess itstume for me to read the novel. A user in reddit said anime just covered two volumes. So the 3rd one would be season 2 onwards

What is the appeal of an anime adaptation of a light novel? I know silly question but I just find LN adaptations to be "worse"
They cut out or censor more things in the adaptations (even more than manga) and sometimes the animation is not very good
Also LN run even longer than most manga so it isn't like viewers will get the full story adaptated. And even if that's possible the story might pass the point where it should have ended and start to go downhill.
I really like the look of this show and the premise is cool but I am not a fan of adaptations of LNs or manga.

Excellent. This was the most enjoyable anime I've watched this year. I probably will start picking up the light novels next year.

I hope Xylo gets to sword surf in the anime too.

Very welcome given the giant cliffhangers the first season ended with.

It's obviously a gacha. It looks exactly the same as Black Clover M (from the same developers).

Same reasons a movie or TV adaptation of any other novel is more appealing to many - they have no interest in reading the novels, and understand that adapting things to fit into the run-time of a movie/series requires cuts and changing/censoring some content for broadcast standards.
If they liked the TV/movie enough, then several will check out the novels, which is really why they also make these; to get people interested in buying the original source material - to read the stuff that wasn't in the show.
