y'know, for a capcom title (especially from a company who's usually, "new ip? what's that?"), yeah, that's honestly a fair amount of sales. it's also pretty impressive considering the timeline from announcement to release (i think it was revealed at the ps5 showcase in 2020).

again, waiting for matt to eventually make a wha happun video on this game, because it kinda deserves it. it would be...what? his 10th or 11th time talking about capcom in a video...

Exoprimal wasn’t a new IP? Or Kunitsu Gami?

I'm sure Shinzo Abe is looking down upon us and nodding in approval at all the strong parental urges among other things the game has been instilling in people. Glad to see his message still being passed along.

Shinzo Abe has been relegated to an unperson in Japan due to fooling around with cults who have now had their official religious status revoked. Keep up with the news

For those confused, there's a weird idea going around that this game is somehow Capcom trying to help fix Japan's birthrate problem by making players want to be parents, completely ignoring that the girl is an android and the protagonist doesn't even meet her until after the start of the game.

I've yet to play it myself but all the hair-splitting and rage this game has generated online and certain individuals has been fun to watch. From what I heard it's actually fun and not one of those 'sad dad' games

It is literally never worth listening to any online discourse.

And yeah, this game is fantastic. The main character takes to being an unexpected space dad rather well. It helps that he's spoiler[an orphan that was adopted at a young age, so he knows that being a family isn't all about blood bonds.][/spoiler]

People say that about every piece of Japanese media that encourages people to become parents or focus on families..

Whoa, I would have thought it would be at least 40 hours. It looked like an RPG that would go for that long too!
