I'm holding out for a 1:1 scale model. (Surely that's the plan for the 50th).

From my own experience with paying for the shipping of particularly large 1/4 scale figure (over 450mm tall) that I had pre-ordered and was forced to use ECMS shipping, the alternative was even pricier DHL, the S&H came out to 85% the cost of the figure. Given this was before the whole matter of sky rocketing fuel costs, depending on the S&H provider today could easily see S&H costs equal the price of the toy.

Didn't ADV already do a dub of the original series?

I get wanting the original series streaming in non-Robotech form, but IIRC you need to go through Harmony Gold.

Animego did a sub of it. Adv did a re-dub of the series and it did include a sub of it.How accurate is it compared to the original?I do not know since i do not own the animego or the originial.
You can get both the animego and adv series without going through harmony gold.Just look on the secondary market.

I wonder if they'll also release a DYRM version (with different carrier arms)? Maybe in time for the movie's 45th anniversary. Very Happy

It's interesting because Yamato/Arcadia has also done a 1/3000 scale DYRL-version SDF-1 that's currently out-of-print. Perhaps they still hold the rights to that version.

99,000 Japanese Yen equals
621.94 United States Dollar

That is the price tag for the moment, not including shipping.

I would love to have it, but right now it is an ultra fan's toy or a rich person's toy. Too much for something that would gather dust in my house.
