First chapter was fun. I don't see this going for 200 chapters or something, but it has a decent enough setup for 100.

^Agreed. We don't see to many "father"-son dynamics in action manga, so I'm already invested in the core relationship and would die for Hikari already. About the worst thing I can picture this series is pulling an Oshi no Ko and doing some kind of bait-and-switch with the first volume and mulliganing the original premise for something more conventional, but that I'm worried about that is a good sign I like what it is now.
