Um, Yen Press is actually releasing the manga in America. Not Tokyopop...

True, true. I think they were confused 'cause TP originally had the license rights but something happened and so they lost 'em.
I hope we get a notice in the near future, stating, "Yen Press acquires Spiral's acclaimed prequel series, Spiral: Alive." That would just make my week. 
On a side note: a HUGE congrats to them for acquiring the Haruhi manga series. Still a fledgling company and already they've gotten some big name titles under their belt. I already love them.
