Hmmm good news, I love Akemi Takeda's design, and then I hear the word "Headgear" on top of that... I hope it will be a successful project and that either Ito, Kawai, Izubuchi or Oshii will take part to this project.

The CG renditions of Noa and Clancy reminded me of Jill and Claire from Resident Evil, but the thought of an old-schooler like Takada being able to compete with the next-gen animators was awesome. She didn't seemed like an action/video game kind of person to me, so I'm curious what she'll do with the software. [She also seemed amused by my nick on my badge, when she was autographing my BV Patlabor movie booklets, for some reason...

Hopefully by 3D CG they are thinking more Production I.G. style rather than Gonzo style.
