I was waiting for a year before someone got this show. I'm glad it finally happened. I'm still reading the manga but Rave Master is really good.

Hmm, so they're keeping things going from 12-2am? I wonder if those hours will be part of Toonami or just extra shows.
Also, what's the deal with the movie? Twice in one night, that's a bit much, and then to only break it up by one episode? They should have moved the second showing to 12pm.
BTW, Duel Monsters should count as a new show seeing as how they haven't shown it in episode form yet, just the "movie" last week.

Yeah, I think Rave Master is one of those "looks are deceiving" packages. I've passed on the manga many a time because it looked like a typical...I dunno...typical (for lack of a better thought) Yu-Gi-Oh-type series, even though I kinda like YGO. But, I was really pleasantly surprised with the storyline and artwork. Never managed to sneak a peek at the anime series before it was licensed, so I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Just a thought - movies will be great, but I wonder if 1:30 is long enough to run them without cutting most of them to shreds?

What movies are they showing? I mean, I doubt if the movies they show have a total playing time more than 1:30... Cutting them to shreds seems unlikely to me.

Most of what they're going to show is stuff like the DBZ movies. In which case the "movie" itself is barely even an hour.

Alright! New shows on Toonami, that's so cool! Not to mention, I've been meaning to see about half of what's on there, especially Rave Master and Gundam Seed. I can't wait until this takes affect.

Probably the land before time a million times. What are they up to, thirty of those corny movies? When do the dinosaurs go extinct?

Nah, the Cartoon Theater always runs until 7pm on Saturdays so it wont interfere with the new Toonami.
