All of these "extra" DVD episodes that they keep doing is sure keeping the otaku on their feet. They can't miss the opportunity to see it, so they must buy. More Birdy is always good though.

Birdy is a nice show although I like the current second season better than the first one. Nevertheless I don't think a connection episode between season 1 and 2 is necessary.

I don't what they would really cover in an epsiode bridging the two.

The first season tanked on DVD. They could throw in an extra episode to reel in some more customers, but it seems a bit pointless.
