In Time has an interesting story.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo(2011) feels like an awkward remake. I'm saw the original and am having a tough time getting through the remake.

Agreed, the remake should have been better with the Hollywood money they had to work with (MAYBE LESS MONEY SPENT ON A USELESS INTRO). So while the original does lack a little in quality, it's definitely more bang for the buck
