I wonder when the mess with Infinite Stratos and Media Factory is sorted out. Might as well as work on something else until then.

The short of it is the author had a spat with Media Factory of sorts, and, in return, they immediately yanked volumes 1-7 from the market and are now OOP.
Supposedly, Yumizuru mentioned things are fine with him and MF, but who really knows.

Incredible. Yumizuru is actually pretty damn savvy for doing this. Before, he had to actually write his mary-sue, wish-fufillment, harem schlock himself. Now he can just let the fans write it, and rake in the dough as Otaku suck up his terrible writing, that he technically didn't even write.
Can't hate the man for efficiency. It's like printing money.
