Oh come on people, it is a simple merchandise tie in to a popular show. Happens all the time. You should see some of the wierdness in the merchandise section of Diamond's Previews. I will say the Japanese do seem to be more inventive and aggressive about it.
Who buys the stuff and what they do with it is not the problem of the people who make it. This stuff is interesting and cute, but it is not the end of civilization as we know it. |
