That's one of my favorite things about MADHOUSE--they're not afraid to to do works like Redline.

They might be now, Redline was in production for an exceedingly long period compared to most anime films, and times have changed. The movie isn't even a 2011 product, mind you, it premiered in 2009 and has just been shopped around to festivals and events since. Madhouse isn't the same powerhouse studio it used to be, either their members have left, died, or just lie dormant without churning out products.
