Haven't seen DB:E, but I have seen Blood. Basically a decompressed version of the anime movie. More backstory for Saya. Fight choreography by Cory Yuen. FX nothing to write home about. Wonder how well it's doing in the rest of Asia since Animax has been re-airing the anime movie and Blood+ is getting its umpteenth run. Saw Khary Payton (Teen Titans' Cyborg) in the cast credits as "creature". Don't think he had any dialogue, otherwise I would've recognized him before the credits. |
