When a person automatically starts a talkback thread by hitting the "Discuss this in the forum" link, would it be possible to also automatically insert a link to the feature/news item/review it is covering?

It would be so handy. Especially if the talkback is for something older that has fallen off the front page.

It does (although it didn't always since I remember requesting this myself in the past since it is indeed very helpful)

Look for "Note: this is the discussion thread for this article" at the top of the thread between the breadcrumbs and the page navigation.
