If anyone is interested the figure is 26% off at AmiAmi or 15% off at HLJ. Those are really good prices, but I'm more interested in Haruhi herself and I need to see more pictures before I decide (The ones shown at the Tamashii Nation event didn't exactly excite me).

Because it's genius. NOTE: Have not seen season 2 if the model is a reference to it. |

Hajime Katoki designed it. He's like Bandai's go-to guy when it comes to redesigning or re-imagining mecha and characters.
Heh, my first thought was that it looked like it could just crumble on its own at any moment. But I have faith in Bandai, only thing I want to see before I decide to buy is a list of features. As far as I know what's in the article is the only official pic released so far, the rest is different angles from the show display. Bandai is keeping this one a little too close to the vest still. Would have been a _major_ improvement to Season 2 if it was actually featured in-series. Now, how long before we get a sweet Soul of Chogokin version of the MecHaruhi suit??
