Kinda neat to hear this news. Hopefully we might be seeing a step in the direction of more than just Vanguard taking off in the US. I tried out playing Weiss Schwarz and find it an engrossing and fun card game.
It's extremely luck based, BUT I think I love it for that. The game is pleasantly unpredictable like a board game versus the 'only certain strategies work' process of other card games. Not that I HATE that other style, I play me some MtG on a somewhat frequent basis, but when I get to just focus on building a deck based on what I 'like' versus what is guaranteed to 'win', I tend to have more fun no matter what game I'm playing... It just tends to be that Weiss Schwarz seems to favor that more than other games. |

For some reason it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when where on their .com site it has the Union Jack instead of the Stars and Strips for the [English Page] tab.
