All around, I can't say I was too happy about how this newest Gintama series was handled. All those reruns just killed it for me... Hopefully they give it a few years now before bringing it back again.
And aw yeah Aikatsu. Hopefully it'll get more than 50 episodes now that it has a better timeslot. |

Well that certainly didn't take long. Can't say I'd be sad to see Gintama go for a while though since they really should have just taken off a full year before bringing the anime back. It's not like the series isn't popular enough. I just wish Sket Dance's return is what was replacing it.

Well da*n :/. Nothing against aikatsu but this is really disappointing even with the reruns the new episodes have all been amazing. Hopefully after the movie comes out it'll return again (no doubt it will though since it prints money for aniplex). Also whats going to be taking aikatsus timeslot then?

Aikatsu! has some magical hold over me. every episode Johnny makes a spectacular entrance, announces something new with a bizarre mix of English and Japanese, the girls do something related to the announcement, then they transform and sing and possibly learn a moral or two along the way. Rinse and repeat. Despite all that, it's still entertaining, and I keep coming back each week

I would've been sad before, but as said, the reruns just ruined it. It wasn't a good return. It needs a year or so off and continuous new episode releases. Hope it returns with that since I'm sure it isn't going for good.

Man, Aikatsu! is moving up there in the world. First they stole Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal's old timeslot, now they take Gintama's..
Sad this probably signifies Sket Dance not coming back though, unless it pops up on another timeslot somewhere down the line. |
