Actually pretty excited for this. Also nice to see FFX-2 confirmed as well.

The only thing I don't exactly like is that the Vita releases will be sold separately, though I imagine it's a combination of cost and space issues. Hopefully they'll only price it half the price the PS3 version will but... Knowing Square...

Very excited about the news. I am not a big fan of FFX-2 with the whole changing costume theme but FFX is probable my favorite FF game ever. I hope they will bring this over to the United States.

Sweet! still a little worried that it will not make it to the states by 2013, but glad that it came up again Very Happy. Ill get it for my vita Smile and x2 as a bonus never hurts, lol

I knew this would happen I just didn't know if it would come in a bundle or not and it seems it is and isn't. While I will be picking this up if it's a good HD update I would REALLY like to see FFXII as well. It would make more sense to make all three in the set because selling XII alone might be odd and it has nothing else to be packed with except for that DS game it got and I don't know if they could HD that one up. I know they did for 358/2 days but I don't know how the other game would hold up.

I kinda fear that XII will never get a HD remake as people complained so much about it when it came out and SE may perhaps feel there is no demand for it.

Despite how vocal the detractors are, FFXII was actually very well received.

Anyway, nice to see that FFX-2 is getting an HD release as well. It's a very fun game, and the lighter tone is very cathartic after how dreary and depressing the original is.

SE, you *really* want to deprive me of my money, don't you? Very Happy I didn't think I could possibly look more forward to this, but I was wrong. X is my #1 favorite Final Fantasy game, and I had a lot of fun playing X-2, too. I have both games on PS2 copy already, but given my recent hardware malfunctions I'm not going to hesitate to double-dip on this one. Plus - HD. Just that small sample of difference in the graphics is enough to make me pounce.

Surprise a lot like FFX as their favorite. I thought it was mainly FF7 or FF3/6

I think it's due in part that x is going to be easier to program in hd than making a complete remake with a different battle system, voice actors, different cgi/cut scenes etc.

Hmmm..

Not too excited about X-2, X was pretty good though. The only one worse then X-2 for me was 12... I hate 12 with a passion.

My favorite is 4. <3 Even before it was remodeled into the ground.

Do people really hate Final Fantasy X-2 that much? Personally, I loved it for its soundtrack and gameplay even before I touched Final Fantasy X.

If it comes to the states, I serious can't wait! Smile

Not really, it's the 2nd worst selling main FF game. It stands to be skeptical if they'll bother. They might for complitions sake, but it's not going to get X or X-2 treatment priority.
