Out of sympathy for Blu-ray customers, one would like to expect that the UK 2-disc release arrives as soon after the final single-disc volume reaches US shelves as possible.
If the delay is too lengthy, a US 2-disc complete collection (which I deem inevitable) would pre-date the local one by a significant period of time, which would just cause fans to import. It cannot be stressed enough that any advantage of a US release over the local equivalent undermines the very reason in virtue of which the latter is produced. |
