This news post is a little misleading.

Weird. What's up with those nominees? Gingacho has its moments, but the other two I found to be pretty haphazard or too fluffy and light to really leave any kind of impact.

Hopefully other titles, maybe some underrated "hidden gems," will make the list before the winners are announced.

Did you know that they take field nominations? I'm not sure if it has to be from a librarian or not, but if you're in America and have access to a local library, I don't see why the Youth Librarian wouldn't be happy to nominate a title for you. Just make sure it's within the qualifications (also available through my previous link).

I really liked The Secret Notes of Lady Kanako. Glad to see it's getting some recognition.
