Honestly, let the man out of jail. Manga authors should have a special right to not be confined for the sake of his manga fans.

Wow... I REALLY hope your kidding
I sort of feel bad for this guy as it doesn't really seem like he's done anything that bad. We don't know what kind of ball it was though and if the injury lasted 2 weeks it must have been pretty bad. And of course we have no idea what this 'obscene act' was. So since they did arrest him they obviously must have substantial reason.
Also the irony of a mangaka renowne for his manga about law, prison and the legal system possibly being tried and imprisoned himself...
