Hey, did anyone notice how Kazuma and Ryuho from S-Cry-Ed and Mugen and Jin from Samurai Champloo are very alike, for instance, Mugen and Kazuma are very reckless and dont seem to take orders from anyone but themselves, and Jin and Ryuho are very serious and loyal, did anyone else see this and if so have you seen it anywhere else? (when 2 or more charactors are very alike in there personality)

I've seen alot of that, i believe Sasuke from Naruto is very much like Kaiba from Yu-gi-oh and even more like Koji from Digimon: Frontiers
I do agree with you, Jin and Ryuho and Kazuma and Muygen are alike.
Note: About the whold Sasuke thing, I haven't seen alot of those animes in years (besides Naruto) so please tell me if I'm wrong

It seems a lot of anime characters are paired like that. The noisy one -- usually the main character -- and the quiet, serious one -- the rival. I think it's very common in shonen-type stories.
Eh, I don't like Sasuke.

It's very common to have character with different character traits and personality. Gin and Banji from GetBackers, Hanamichi Sakuragi & Ryouta Miyagi from Slam dunk. Ken & Ryu from Street Fighter. Jean Claude Van Damme & Jean Claude Van Damme from Double Impact!!! Don't even bother mentioning female stereotype and harem series, it's too common.
It would be amazing if we had an anime with 2 similar reckless no-hold bar main hero/team/rival. That I would like to see.
Jean Claude Van Damme, lol

It is a very common pairing in anime, the calm, civilized, intelectual, refined, clean-cut, often lighter skinned guy, and the brash, headstrong, unrefined, heavy eating/drinking, brawler, ruddier skinned, berserker type guy. They're often friendly rivals, usually best friends (even if they fight), sometimes worst enemies. Other examples:
Gon and Killua (HXH)
Sanji and Zoro (One Piece) (or Luffy and Zoro sometimes)
Ichigo and Byakuya (Bleach)
Ginta and Alvis (MAR)
Excel and Hyatt (Excel Saga)
Kurogane and Fye (Tsubasa)
The typical "anime hero" is the brash one, while the refined one is generally the supporting character.
Of course it happens outside or anime too, such as Cyclops and Wolverine, and Luke and Han.

Don't forget the teams of Spike Spiegel and Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop and Batou and Togusa from Ghost in the Shell. Complementary opposites.
