Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora !!

Wow i only saw the first episode yet, but i already know this is another verry good romance/drama anime , and its from 2006 so it looks verry good.
I also know this is a high rated anime by people but, why doesn't almost no one know about this Anime?
It's so weird that an Anime like Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is known by verry much people beside there are much more anime wich are as good like that one.

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora is only six episode's wich is quite less.
Aniway it;s worth it!
I just can't get enough of this type of Anime but i almost seen them all Smile

Yeah, it's too bad that the market isn't really good for series like these. I don't know if anyone will ever want to bring Hantsuki to America, but it would be nice and cheap (only 1-2 DVDs). It's good that you discovered it, Het, I think you'll like it based on the other posts of yours that I've read. You may also want to check out the series that I'm about to make a post on, Shinigami no Ballad.

I must say that the series as a whole was really enjoyable, balancing nicely the elements of drama romance and slice of life humor.

The thing I found most impressive about the series as a whole though was that despite the short running the characters were endearing, and therefor elevated the story above the boy meets girl cliche.

Thumbs up for this one Very Happy

On the note of similar series, HetBaasje you may want to check out "Air" as a possible one to watch, though at times steeped in fantasy it never overwhelms the Drama/romance side of the story but rather compliments it.

I liked this one too. As Mikaal said, the characters deffinitely grow on you in a very short time span. Even the jag-off doctor and yankee nurse have a soft side.

I also agree about the balance. The melodrama is not too overdone, and is mixed nicely with humor. I love the scene where he's saying goodbye to his inherited "magazine" collection - "Goodbye, glasses girl!" Laughing

Unfortunately, this show seems to have been widely un-noticed. Even on the boards here, there are some shows that are all but ignored by the fansubbers, but wildly popular. I'm sure that word of mouth helped Funi in deciding to license KGNE. It's a shame that nobody's raving about this show in that same way.
