Ashamed to admit that...
I actually want some of this milking a popular title merch. {junk}. The only saving factor so far is there are basically no Outer Senshi items and those would be the 100% buy for me...

I'm actually going to agree with this. It's already November and there should be some more news about the upcoming Sailor Moon reboot. Keeping this under wraps is just trolling the fanbase at this point.

Seems like they care to sell merchandise than produce just a tiny bit of something for the new anime. As much as I like this merchandise, I want to know some info about the anime also. Just have this feeling they haven't really started it yet.
If this stuff came here, I would continue to be broke. Ever so tempting... |

The merch have the advantage that it had all been produced before (since the 90s). Also remember that the original anime coincided with the onslaught of its merchandise, so they're simply following their own playbook. |

Because Toei's been teasing with the "new anime" for more than a year and we literally have zero information on it? We don't even have a confirmed title and the series is supposed to premiere in a month and a half. Of course people are growing impatient and frustrated by the absolute lack of information, especially since it has already been pushed back half a year (it was originally scheduled for summer). It's really hard to believe that at this stage of the game (if the series is still going to be released in winter) they don't even have a Key Visual or Promotional art to grasp people's interest. It's the 20th anniversary and the anime project seems like a backdoor thought, there's absolutely no hype for it. I just hope Toei has something really big (and a really good explanation) for holding off every and any information regarding the anime. |
