I was kind of hoping NISA would get this since they got a bunch of other Mari Okada series.

Now I just hope I will continue to enjoy it as much as I am now in its 2nd half

After a lull of NISA not picking up any series I was interested in they picked up this and Eccentric Family. Also both happen to be PA Works. Very Happy

Toward the end?

The end of what, the halfway point?

I've been watching this title and will now stop until I buy the NISA release. The show isn't blowing me away, but it is quite beautiful to look at and some nice moments. I'm not sure I'd be buying this from any other company, but I made a vow to buy any NISA premium edition that comes out.

wish this title got licenesed by sentai or funimation(mostly sentai) for a dub since the premise seems great too show to my family after watching 6 episodes, but at least it will get a physical release.

This is another one of those dramatic romance series that are basically defined as "a bunch of people act like complete idiots for 13/26 episodes and get into ROMANTIC DWAMA that would be solved in 2 minutes if they're weren't all collectively holding the Idiot Ball", right?

But hey it's pretty so it'll look good on BD.

I honestly don't think that at all.

If anything it has been more about racism thus far. The series is quite competent and seems to always know what it's doing. And of course it looks absolutely gorgeous as well.

Okay.

I might actually watch this then. I just cannot stand the kind of romance series that requires the entire cast to act like complete idiots to squeeze dwama out.

It saddens me that Angel Beats and Another are the only PA Works shows in recent history to get a dub. Not to mention Red Data Girl got picked up by Funimation who will almost certainly dub it if they release it.

Some men just wants to see the world burn...

OT: Amazing NISA license! I was a bit bummed when Sentai acquired Non Non Biyori, hoping that a JP BD Box of that is released somewhere down the line... But this is awesome, another P.A Works license by NISA Very Happy

I haven't begun to watch this series yet & i'll probably just wait until the Premium Edition of this show is released, gotta love that BD quality Wink .

Sorry if I go a bit off-topic, but I have a question for all you regular NISA consumers: approximately how long since a series ends/gets licensed can you expect NISA to release it? I recently received a 75 dollar gift card which I'd like to use for NISA's Eccentric Family release, but my card expires in August/September 2014. Should I look for something else to buy with it or is there any chance that the release will be available before my card expires?

It varies but they probably won't be able to release it until all the Japanese BRs are out. NISA also usually releases about one series per month.

I would say save your card until it is going to expire. If it isn't released by then order something else. But you don't need to use the card right away anyways.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll do that. I really hope it comes out in time, I'd really like to own it.
