I have mixed feelings for this for now but I'll look forward to see what Bones has to offer.

Damnit, I know it's a mecha show but with that title

"Captain Earth! It's the Birth! Of an anime that you take in dessert!"
"You'll pay for this Captain Earth!"

Thank you based Bones.
The only way they can screw this up is if they give the female characters minor roles.
We need more mecha where female characters play big roles.

I'm guessing the other 3 will pilot a pink mech, a blue mech, and a yellow mech respectively as well, right?

Let's hope so. The most ideal situation is everyone gets their moment to shine and develop equally.

It's definitely worth checking out, and this promo looks really good to be honest. I'm not too big of a mecha fan, but that doesn't really matter if there are strong characters and a good story involved. I'm really liking the character design for the character that Ai Kayano is voicing.

Spring is packed with tons of goodies, lets hope this'll be another one!

I have hopes for this anime, but for some reason I feel that my hope for this will crumble in some way... I might be wrong though.

Probably because it is a Bones show about robots, which never really works out well.

BONES mecha is usually their strongest suit. Look at RahXephon, Eureka Seven, and Xam'd. Science Fiction is their specialty.

I would be looking forward to this more if the imagery didn't remind me so much of Heroman.

Agreed, sick of shounen male mecha. Why not shounen mecha with a female lead?

I'm suddenly flashing back to the utterly execrable last 25% of Blue Gender, a show that had mechs and was honestly describable as "The environment is comin' to get you and gives you 2 choices: live like despicable hippies in a cultish commune or eat the giant pink laser beam of planetary vengeance".

Sad
