wow i almost forgot about this. got delayed so many times i afraid it would come out till after P5 but glad to see it wont. Hopefully we'll get an english version sooner than later.

as for the new movies, they look... alright. i guess for a 3ds game this is probably as good as itll get.

kinda wish thered be some connection to the first devil survivor game to this one but i dont think it'll happen cause of some of the multiple endings in devil survivor being so different.

maybe an offhand comment from beelzebub or one of those strong bel demons saying that the MC reminds them of someone else the met long ago or in another place. Hell maybe even lucifer could pop in and say you remind me of 'him' or something along those lines

They could only really work them into the same world if Devil Survivor 2 happened before 1. Even then, the entire structure of their universes are fundamentally different.

Though I must admit I wish I could fight as Jungo or Midori in a crossover game like arena. Maybe we can at least hope DS characters get added to that Fire Emblem game.

i understand that the worlds are completely different but rather than directly connecting them in terms or prequel or sequel do something that allows the games to acknowledge each other.

for example I've read via summaries that in the shin megami tensei series that spoiler[Jyoji Hijiri from shin megami III is the MC Aleph from shin megami II who is forced to witness the creation and destruction of each world without having any chance to affect the outcome.
Using this idea what if the world of devil survivor is the recreation of the world after YHVH decided to destroy and rebuild the world from scratch.
Even then some things never change, lucifer still rebels(the optional battle with him showed he was definitely not on gods side), humans still have that pesky thing called free will giving them the choice to choose their path and such. Then what if the world of Devil Survivor 2 is something Polaris made by copying YHVH's world or maybe Polaris was put in charge of the world by YHVH to see how humanity would react to a different 'god']

If the new Fire Emblem game can have a crossover that links the different worlds canonically that would be amazing, but im not going to bet on it.
