This robot looks incredibly creepy.

Also, I have to wonder--what benefit would this have? Unless there is some wave of robophilia going around Japan, I don't think this is a situation that's going to come up very often.

By the way, the video refers to this robot as "Peppai." Where did "Pepper" come from?

This is most likely a combination of Pepper and "oppai", which is a slang term for breasts.

Uh.....what? okkkk....... I find it hilarious that they don't even bother to make the robot look human or have a human face. We know it's all about the boobs.
