So exactly what makes this show different from Asterisk War/Failed Night/Sky Wizards/Absolute Duo/World Break again?
Because really, these light novel adaptations are all starting to look identical to one another.

Out of those series, I'll actually give big props to Chivalry of a Failed Knight for not being a harem and sorta turning away from some cliches. But this show? Without reading the description and only watching this promo, it looks EXACTLY like Infinite Stratos. Five bucks says MC walks in on a naked girl (either roommate or "Queen") in episode 1. Five more says MC ends up in the same team/group as "Queen"

No lie, I am the probably the only one who, as soon as that boob-grab scene shows up in the end, have lost most of the interest of watching this show.
Come on guys, tropes are fine but at least try to show your willingness to deviate from others. |

as one who's read the manga: meh.
It's an okay-ish story, but honestly I think it relies too heavily on over used tropes and doesn't develop itself enough to stand on its own. I've seen some of ya'll compare it to IS, and I wouldn't say yer far from the mark on it. Similar MC gets haren, spoiler[cross dresser gets close to MC for personal reasons]. spoiler[MC walks in on cross dresser while she's naked], story is rather predictable and the arc finisher, while setting up for more, doesn't really feel that overly satisfying. |

Here's to hoping IS Lite has interesting second and third volumes, because the manga translations only covered the events of Volume 1. Please let the girls be cute, please let the animation values be good, please have good fights... That's all I need from you, Hundred. |

In a way, it's nice when you can tell how cliche and terrible the series is going to be just from the cover. Saves a lot of time.
Okay, I'll probably watch the first ep anyhow, but won't expect anything. |
