Sailor Saturn doesn't get her own transformation scene. AGAIN.

Well, she got half of one. And given the circumstances surrounding her arrival, what else can you really ask for? It's not like we actually saw Hotaru turn straight into Saturn... We saw Hotaru mutate into a horrifying monstrosity who then eventually turned into Saturn a few episodes later.

In retrospect, I'm rather glad that season one of Crystal was so bad. Because I never liked what was done to/with Saturn in the manga, and hearing (I haven't watched it) that they followed that basic idea in Crystal, made me glad I stopped after episode 3 or so of the first season of Crystal.
I'll stick with the original anime, filler and all, thanks all the same.

I find it borderline offensive that they keep pimping/hyping HarukaxMichiru so much in the promotionals and artwork when the actual series does not contain anything from that couple. It's absolutely false advertising. If they already know they are so popular, why not give them some development as a couple instead of making Michiru a walking cardboard cut-out?
