@ryboom

Revy probably doesn't meet the specified criteria though she is supposed to be Chinese American. However, the woman Revy refers to as "chinglish" likely does based on her outfit.

I loled when I saw Chichi on the list since she's pretty much an annoying hag in the later series. Still if Chunli from Street Fighter made on the list then I'm surprised no characters from Dynasty Warriors made it consider the game takes place in China and how popular Wang Yuanji and Guan Yinping are.

That and Kagura, girl Ranma and Eva Ushiromiya are the only Japanese on the list.

Does "Girl Ranma" count only because she was technically kinda-sorta "created" in those Jusenkyo pools in China?

Chun Li has always been one of my favorite characters from Street Fighter so I'm not surprised that she is so high on the list. Smile

Chun Li not #1? Darn. The only time I liked TenTen was when she was in that Rock Lee spin-off. She was too cute.

And there she is.

I'm quite fond of Meiling Li from Cardcaptor Sakura; her dynamically emotional crush on Syaoran was a hilarious sight. Smile

Minmay from Macross seems to have fallen out of favour over the last few decades, sadly. Was she not one of the first major anime characters to sport such a style of attire?

Note that many of the characters below are not technically Chinese, but are considered "Chinese girls" anyway for fulfilling the stereotypical attributes.

(But she's not even stereotypical! All she's done is dress up in a martial-arts dress once in a while.)

Not just the attire, thought, ahem, "Minmei" actually was supposed to be Chinese, working in her family's restaurant, and having an arrogant martial-arts jerk for a relative.

She was a bit annoying at first but I did grow fond of her too. Meiling is probably the only anime-original character I actually loved (I miss her whenever I'm re-reading the CCS manga).
