God bless them farmers for doing the dirty work for getting us meat. No, that wasn't sarcasm, they really deserve praise.

Having been raised in semi-rural Oklahoma there's nothing here I haven't seen IRL. It's good to be honest & clear about how that steak, pork or chicken ended up on your plate.

A very informative manga showcasing the thankless process of how farmers bring their meat to the supermarkets. My thanks goes to every farmer and farm animal in the world for the meat products they make.

Don't kid yourself, Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd eat you and everyone you care about!

Oh, don't just thank the farmers and the animals, thank the workers at the meat processing plants, who risk permanent disability with very little compensation at unspecified levels and often have to wear adult diapers because they don't get bathroom breaks, so Americans can eat an average of 200 pounds of meat a year each at a reasonable price. Aint deregulations and industry control of safety measures great? /sarcasm

Yes...The workers at the meat-processing plants are certainly deserving of praise as well. It's really disheartening that the corporations of the meat industry are constantly subjecting them to such horrific working conditions with little or no payout. Sad

They left out the most important part in the life cycle of a pixelated 16-bit steak: Once it's ready, the steak is placed inside a garbage can, so Guy, Cody, or Haggar can punch the can open later and eat the steak to regain health.

The tastes of Axel and Max were clearly of a more luxurious ilk: they would settle for nothing less than dressed and roasted turkeys.
