Yes! The spin-off to the GOAT is getting an anime adaptation. Can't wait!

Why will they produce a spin-off to a VN-adaptation that completely flopped in sales? I don't get it.

Season 1 you mean, which was 100% crap. Also, if anime exist to promote manga/ln, don't you think the same would happen for VN's? :V

I haven't played the VN yet, but it seems promising. Assuming 8bit will be working on this again, let's just hope they don't rush it like they rushed Grisaia no Kajitsu.

I love the phantom trigger series so far even though it's way too short imo but I definitely prefer the cast overall more than the original minus a few exceptions.

Not only VN sales, I imagine. This hit around the time that streaming revenue and whatnot was also increasing substantially. I'm never going to stop emphasizing that when everyone keeps downplaying it so much. Low physical disc sales mean very little these days. High ones can definitely make a show, but low ones definitely don't doom one. There are so many other revenue streams that everyone keeps totally ignoring.
