This is truly one of the best manga in existence. I would buy it for the art alone, even if there were no story attached, but Mori tells a good story as well. And I agree with the reviewer that Pariya is one of the best characters in the manga.

I marathoned this series at an anime convention's manga library recently. It's so good. I love the hardcover format, too. I'm trying to justify the expense and shelf space to buy the series at some point.
Also, Pariya is freaking adorable.
