So this is what Nagai Tastuyuki has been up to. Glad to see him return, and even more glad to see this show return. Always a lot of fun to watch these characters' adventures.

Hoping for 2-cour. There should be enough material.

It appears that now is as good a time as any for me to start watching Railgun for the first time.

Looking forward to it.

I've been waiting for this more than Index III. I really like the Shokuhou Misaki arc.

Misaki arc is in Index New Testament and won't be here. Railgun 3 is adapting the Daihasei arc xP

And the Daihaseisai Arc has enough Misaki to say that her screen time will be equal to Mikoto.

Yes it does!

The Daihaseisai arc is big enough with several characters taking the POV so it's probably gonna be great. Also, it won't leave too much space for the crappy fillers Railgun's plagued with. Laughing

I'm glad there's going to be more but is there some reason Crunchyroll isn't streaming Index season three in the US? Will we even get to see this show?

It's JC Staff, consecutive seasons and punctually usually isn't their thing. It took them six years to finish Shakugan no Shana when other studios would have it done in three.

Wonder if we're going to get an adaption of Liberal Arts City or just go straight into the Daihasei Arc. At the end of the Daihasei Arc we'll see the continued whining about Mikoto having to be saved by Touma from Railgun fanboys, again.

Considering this is a SPINOFF about Mikoto and her exploits, why wouldn't they get upset? Why would Touma get involved when he has his own main series? It makes sense with the Accelerator arc since both Index and Railgun share the same story, but what's the reason of getting him into the plot?

Because Kamijou is more important to the ongoing plot than Misaka is.

I think certain Railgun fanboys are going to have a rude awakening watching this season when they realize this series is a lot less cute girls doing cute things than the previous seasons.
