The mangaka said they'll make a second season if the first one does well. Most likely will happen, since it's Netflix.

That depends, if it is like Devlman Crybaby where it comes to Netflix as an exclusive, then that sounds about right. If it is like a lot of other shows where they wait until about two thirds have broadcasted before putting the first half on, I can not see it being that big as people will just go elsewhere to watch it.
