I had a feeling Healin' Good Precure is going to get delayed so it's good we got confirmation. Though I have to say, the peeps at Toei had one hell of a twisted luck to be having a Precure that's themed around diseases and medical care so I'm a little worried if this pandemic is going affect what ever future story lines they had originally planned. Granted this feels like a perfect opportunity for this team of Precure to go PSA on proper hygiene and practices during this pandemic.

Interesting that GeGeGe no Kitaro will be briefly rerunning.

Was hoping Digimon had a few more weeks, but saw it coming.

That’s too bad, I was watching both of them. I’d rather the Toei staff stay safe though.

I pretty much expected Digimon would get delayed after there was talk about One Piece being delayed. It was only a matter of time. Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens is probably going to get delayed next. Is it just me or does it seem like most of these shows are getting delays announced after the third episode?

I can't believe the Pretty Cures lost.

But for real though, I'm glad they were more focused on safety than work schedules.

At this point, I'm expecting an announcement of a show not being delayed until completion to be newsworthy. Otherwise, I feel like all spring shows will get delayed at some point.

I heard some shows like Ufotable's Fate/UBW have their dub recorded first, maybe there's a possibility that some titles have completed most of its production stage which can be affected by the current situation.

Either way, I'm into delays if it means they'll stay safe and to improve the situation.

From what I've heard, My Life as a Villainess actually wrapped up production already so unless there's something absolutely critical that must be changed, it shouldn't have any problems airing its entire run.

I've had two different translators tell me that Toei's announcement about Precure said "after episode 13" not "episode 13", so it should be airing and everything after it is postponed.

Syoboi seems to confirm that as they've removed 14 onwards and 13 is still listed.

apparently they were just slow on the uptake? TV Asahi's own website has Healing Good episode 1 listed on their schedule for next week now.

And we still did not get the promised Digimon review. Now, we can totally forget to ever get any review of Digimon from ANN, because, be honest, this situation will not be resolved until mid-summer in the best and then, the review schedule for ANN reviewers will be so packed that chances for Digimon to be included are little to none Crying or Very sad

There only been like 7 shows that are currently airing that have been delayed so about another 30+ or so.

Well Japan only just delcared the virus as a national state of emergency 2 weeks ago, and we're only 3 weeks into Spring anime season. So perhaps some studios who previously thought they could go on are now basically being forced to stop.
