This is great! Though my only concern is from Monica's clip where Krystal is speaking as Mirai, she sounded ALOT different from this one. Either the full scene has proper transition leading to that performance, or they had a different voice actor which is a bit extreme just to hide the real actress that is going to voice her. The clips themselves are great, I just want to hear all of it now so I can hear the proper flow when Krystal goes with different deliveries.

How unpleasant of me to wait longer for this release lol

Now ANN thread rage for Chris Ayres having her GF be the lead while I have popcorn in 3.....2.....1! Rolling Eyes

I had a feeling she was going to be cast in the role considering the previous clip from two weeks with Mirai in it sounded like her to a degree. Krystal sounds decent in the role. The usual crew that shows up in many Chris Ayres' dubbing productions are in it. Average looking cast don't have much interest in the dub or show itself but hopefully The Black Bullet dub is a bit more exciting in the casting department. Chris Patton marching as the lead Rentarou Satomi is usually a good sign for a dub.

I think the movie serves as a direct sequel of the first season and maybe that's all will get, but yeah, I want a 2nd season as I enjoyed every character interaction the anime offered (except for anything that involved Mitsuki).

i didn't watch the recap movie.. but 2nd movie. i hope it's not a remake like blue steel

anime#15359

you got a recap movie.. and then the 2nd movie coming out soon is a remake or sort.. entirely new characters.. what the heck?

but it's a good thing there's a manga series of blue steel available so i can pick it up where the anime series left off..

but Beyond the Boundary.. they based it on a novel.. so nothing much to do except wait for the anime version..

^ according to MyAnimeList, the movie "Mirai-hen" takes place a year after the events of the series. I think Kotaku made a review of that movie as well. So I'm pretty sure it won't be some sort of remake

Yes! The BD comes out in October, I read that a month ago, but for it to come here to America... It will most likely be licensed by Sentai, but for that it'll take some time...

I know this is a bit of a necropost, but...

Apparently in Sentai's recent steelbook retail re-release of Beyond the Boundary Sentai has completely re-cast and re-dubbed Krystal's role. Mirai is now played by Kira Vincent-Davis.

In August of 2016 Krystal apparently had some sort of falling out with Sentai for reasons unknown to her. This seems to be the latest effect of that.
