You’re thinking “Hiro Shimono”, Satoshi Hino is indeed Rengoku’s VA.

It might just be me (and no fault to the interviewer), but I have to say out of all the typical industry people ANN is able to secure interviews with (JPN creators, authors, anime staff, English ADR directors/VAs, etc...), JPN voice actors might be the least interesting. Even if I understand why, every answer is so standard boilerplate and sanitized that I usually go into an article thinking "I wonder what was the interviewer able to pry out" rather than expecting anything from the person alone.
