Funny... At first I ignored a few announcements about this series because baseball is a sport I have absolutely no interest in (and it didn't click when I read "extreme baseball" that it's not just about normal sports), but then I noticed that the character design looks kind of Danganronpa-like, and now that I learned that the Danganronpa composer and head writer are involved in this project, it gets more interesting to me.
I thought Akudama Drive had an interesting premise and a cool setting. But when it comes to the overall verdict, I'm rather reserved, because there was too much style over substance for me, and from my point of view, the story and characters turned out pretty bland at the end. Therefore, I keep my expectations for Kodaka's new series rather low.
