I just noticed that this manga had been on my to read list for a while but I basically knew nothing about it. I think I just thought the artstyle was decent lol. Definitely has been put much lower on my priority list after reading this review. It's a shame, because most of the BL tokyopop has licensed has been really good but this just seems mediocre

Yeah, I was really disappointed, because as you said, they've had a lot more hits than misses with their BL titles. With more than one volume, this might have been better, but here we are.
