With the first film only getting so-so reception both critically and commercially (and I think I'm too generous here), it's so brave of them to proceed with 2 sequels.
And the first sequel only had one week in top 10 before dropping off too... ouch. I don't think those CGI scenes are cheap.

I think a lot of the recent film's performance can be attributed to one of its key cast members being caught up in a Yakuza scandal and his agency not so gracefully trying to downplay it.

I can totally see the actors natural hair line under that blond wig. Geez this looks bad.
The first film was already terrible, how did it get sequels?
