I don't follow anything to do with football/soccer and yet I was ECSTATIC when my tl blew up about Japan's win. It was so cool to see everyone meme-ing Blue Lock while celebrating.

They literally went Blue Lock in the 2nd half. Guess those uniforms truly did help.

I didn't give Japan a shot to win but knew they'd hang on to make it tough. Considering Germany crashed out in 2018 I figured they would have more gusto to prove they are condenders. This is an upset in my book and it was their first win over Germany. Congratulations Japan, you put that group up in the air now. Should be an interesting next two games.
