Whatever happened to due process? Has due process and the concept of innocence until proven guilty completely left the house and took a trip oversea? How would you feel if you get fired, even if it's because of bad publicity, but turns out you're are innocent, how is that lawful or just? May be due process is going to way of the do-do just like this fake democracy we practice in America.

For the love of...ugh...there is proof. Look at the previous thread before you jump to conclusions.
Anyway, from what I'm getting on Twitter, the VAs are thanking Hoyo for this as well, yet apparently he's making more and more burner accounts so that his misbehavior can continue. Paimon's VA has even stated they're still harassed by him even after this came to light and more are being harassed by the burner accounts, one of which is getting very serious on the victim shaming by saying the victims destroyed his life and someone said graphic pictures of self mutilation.
The man has become unhinged and is off his rocker...so just putting it out there as a warning.

There's literally a whole paragraph in this article with evidence and an admission. And a court of law only applies if any legal action is taken. Otherwise, this is just a company cutting ties with an employee/contractor.

There it is a take that doesn’t understand that companies can fire employees accused of certain acts even if they’re innocent….eventhough the guy in this specific case is not innocent of some of the allegations against him.
Or that certain things are not tried in a court of law.

So the only way you can be fired from your job is if you’re found guilty in a court of law, then?

M8, at this point they can just fire him from bringing bad rep to the company. Dude's gone. End of story.

He's been let go from his job, not sent to prison.

That is reasonable grounds to dismiss him.

This is a termination of contract, so it is presided over by said contract's termination clauses, not a court. (Except should a party of the contract wishes to raise a dispute, then lawyers would get involved, and then maybe a court.)
Further, this is ultimately a contract with a Chinese company. If you want to take an issue, talk with the CCP.

Good. After seeing the shenanigans the guy's been up to, it was only a matter of time. The guy basically torpedoed his own career with his frankly gross actions.

This may come as a surprise if you've never read an employment contract, but it is important to know for when you have a job: in general, a company can fire you for any reason they want. There is a very specific list of protected classes that you cannot be fired for, such as your race or religion, but things such as "being accused of a crime" or "bringing bad publicity to the company" are not on that list.

The same old, same tired argument "wait until courts determine he's guilty."
Bruh, if the crimes he did were outside of the statute of limitations, then he will never be found guilty. So by that reasoning, it would be perfectly okay to keep him on payroll even if, there was overhwelming evidence of crimes committed.

The guy should be fired, I ain't about to defend him
But the CCP isn't involved in this in any way
Any contract with an American by the American branch of a company is enforced by American contract law

Seeing people in the FB comments asking to be compensated with...
...gems?
Such a strange world, man.

In bad taste for sure, but also not sure why they're asking, when the company will likely reward players with some amount of currency. They're changing the voice of a paid product.
