Honestly, I am not touched by this news. The movie already exists, and it is the perfect version of the story anyway.

The manga has a charming artstyle (IMO the best of all Shinkai adaptations) and did add some nice touches of its own to the story, so it's a shame that its availability is getting worse for English readers. I myself have all three volumes of the Finnish release.

Already read the manga and own the special edition bluray set so I could care less personally. I mean pirate sites exist for a reason after all. Absolutely love the film, literally the only other good Shinkai film aside from Garden of Words.
