So it seems like she goes along with the marriage because she thinks she can prevent the male lead from going to war? And then she really comes to understand him and falls in love.
And of course the bevvy of handsome men.

Can people who have experienced the source content tell me, is it more about the intrigue of the world and struggle to survive? Or is it more about the bevy of attractive men and their relationship to the main character?

The LN is more focused on her using her knowledge and experience from her previous lives to find solutions to her problems, the men play a part, usually the source of her problems, but I’d say more the first (at least from my memory).
