I was wondering how long before older animes would get released in 4K, I hope they sell well so 4K would always get released.

4k is great but it's just nice to see Summer Wars get re-released. Pretty sure i still have my Blu Ray in storage but I'll happily get the 4k if I can.

Are there actually 4K sources for these movies? Film scanned in 4K, or 4K-native digital production?
Or are these upscaled from HD/FHD sources?

I was out of the anime circles when these were originally released so I'm happy to see them getting reissued. I'll definitely be picking them up.

Now I get to own two copies of Summer Wars (my all time #1 movie) and Wolf Children ^-^ I assume that both will have Funimation's dubs? I genuinely enjoy the dub for Summer Wars and rewatch it every year.
